Opa! Greek Festival Recap

 

Sara’s Market and Bakery joined the community last weekend at the 56th Annual Greek Food Festival of Dallas. Despite the rain, everyone danced, shopped and ate their hearts out! Sara’s pita accompanied Chicken Oreganato, Keftethes (Greek Meatballs), Spanakopita (Spinach in filo), Tiropita (cheese in filo), rice pilaf, Greek salad and olives. And that’s just the Greek Festival Feast. The food tents also included gyros, Loukaniko (Greek Sausage), dolmas, Greek fries and many more Greek delicacies!

 The Greek Food Festival supports outreach programs such as the International Orthodox Christian Charities, who offer emergency relief and development programs to those in need worldwide without discrimination. The Greek Food Festival also supports the Austin Street Center in Dallas, which supports emergency shelter for those in need.
